August 2013 Classes

Class #1.   Sat. 17 & 24 August   9 - 11am
It was exciting to use Studio Calico's Classic range. They are neutral colours that would suit any theme. I have used a 5.5" x 5.5", two 5.5" x 3.5" photos and two 2.5" x 2.5" photos. If you would like to bring your own papers along, you will need 3 sheets of patterned paper (two the same), 2 sheets of cardstock plus one for matting, a title and some embellishments.

At the farm
In this layout we use Crate Paper’s Season Collection of papers and embellishments. With this collection of bright, earthy tones this layout suits a fun active or outdoors theme.

One mad month
This layout uses October Afternoon’s Midway range of papers and embellishments. The bright colours and fun embellishments would suit just about any theme.

Kids Class   Thursday 29 August   4pm - 5pm
You can pick your own colour cardstock for a cute mini-album. Add a teal decorative border and add your photos and journaling. There are eight pages that will fit 2" photos and a small mat, plus the front cover. Teacher: Stacey

July Class Update

Hi everyone,

Just a quick email to let you know that our classes on Saturday 27th July are fully booked.

We still have some great classes on Saturday 20th July and we have some spaces available. There are two kits left for class #1, no kits available for classes #2 and #3.

If you need some 'me' time after the school holidays or you just want to learn some new techniques, then book in your seat!

July 2013 Classes

Hi everyone,

Who would have thought that buying and installing a new external hard drive would mess up our website? Well we did and it has!

We are back up and running now and we are refreshed for July classes after a fantastic scrapbooking retreat. Many thanks to the attendees for their wonderful feedback. We will be sure to let everyone know when we have booked another weekend.

This month I have used Kaiser Crafts Blast Off range to create a double page layout which would suit a theme about a loved one. I have used three 4" x 6" photos and one 5" x 7" photo. If you would like to bring your own papers along, you will need 2 sheets of cardstock, 2 sheets of patterned paper - plus 2 co-ordinating scraps, some paper embellishments and bling.

This layout uses quite a range of different techniques. Masking with everyday items, distressing, inking, knife and scissor cutting. The colours lend itself to a distressed rustic theme - perfect for featuring males. You will need two 6" x 4" and four 4" x 4" photos.

This month’s layout features Simple Stories ‘Take a Hike’ range of papers and embellishments and has an outdoors/travel theme. The colour scheme is a vibrant mix of brown, green and orange and features nine photos - a great way to celebrate your holiday or break.

Kids Class   Thursday 25 July   4pm - 5pm
This month we will use a dramatic colour combination of black with purple and green. These colours would suit any theme and embellishments will be made to suit your theme. You will need two 4" x 6" portrait photos and one 6" x 4" landscape photo.
