Hi all. Sorry to say that the kits for this class have sold out. However there are still places in the class on 19th May.

Brrr.... May always feels like the start of Winter! Not looking forward to the cold, it's so hard to stay motivated. Hopefully our classes will help with that, I know they help us!!

Class #1. Sat. May 19 & 26 9:00am - 11:00am
I have designed a double-page sketch & have teamed it with 2 interpretations of that sketch to help you create a striking layout. For this month's kit I have used some Kaiser Craft and My Mind's Eye paper. My page is about the swimming pool using aqua, blues and greens. You could also flip the background paper over to use a pink

The focus of this double-page layout is a shape. Choose from three shapes - star, circle or flower. Each shape is featured in an almost whole page embellishment & also as a smaller, repeated pattern on the layout. There are also three colour themes: floral, pastel & robots - please specify when booking. This is a fun layout that
would suit just about any theme.

This layout takes some Oriental inspiration in its red and black colour scheme and papers and embellishments from the Asian-inspired Serenity range from Bo Bunny. This double-page layout is simple and would suit an Oriental or dramatic theme. Teacher: Philarney

Kids Class Thursday May 24 3:30pm - 5:00pm
This month we are starting a regular kids class. This month we will be creating a single page layout titled 'Love'. Being the month of May a 5" x 7" landscape photo of you and your Mum would be perfect. This class is suitable for children aged 6+ and numbers are limited to 8, so get in quick! Teacher: Stacey

I hope you are all getting into the Easter spirit by eating hot crossed buns and buying up Easter eggs for your loved ones. Make sure you take some photos over the Easter weekend so you can scrap them at our next classes!

Have you ever wondered what the Cricut Gypsy can do? This class will provide you with a kit of cardstocks, patterned papers and pre-cut embellishments from the Cricut Gypsy to make two unique single pages. The page themes are Easter and Love, there is a choice between 'earthy' or 'brights' for the Easter page. Please specify when booking in. Teacher: Stacey

This month we are linking in to a current scrapbooking trend and incorporating a chevron pattern onto our pages. We will make a double page layout and make a large, three layered chevron pattern to be used on both pages. I have used photos from a summer holiday as the colour scheme is bright and summery, but it would suit many themes. Teacher: Philarney

Scrap for Yaz

Philarney and I attended Scrap for Yaz today, it was nice to see some familiar faces there. We had a great time decorating journals for this special cause. All journals and adhesives were provided, there were heaps of embellishments and letters to choose from, they even fed us and gave out lucky door prizes! We will definitely be attending the next one. Here are some photos of the day...
 

Scrapbooking Camp

We can't believe already been a week and a half since our Scrapbooking Camp! What a great weekend it was, everyone scrapped their hearts out. Thanks to all the attendees who made it a success. We have decided to run a second camp this year, it will be 26th-28th October 2012. More details will be released as soon as they are confirmed. Hope you can make it :)
