November Classes 2011

Hi Everyone!

Last month's class bookings went well using the new payment 

method, thanks to the all the class attendees for making it a success.

November classes will be our last for 2011 - didn't this year fly! Classes will start back in January 2012.

Here is the information for our November classes.

#1. Stacey's class: 19th Nov. 9:00am - 11:00am
A double-page sketch layout will be teamed with 2 interpretations of that sketch to help you create a striking layout. As an optional extra you may choose to buy a kit which will include the materials needed to create the double-page layout as well as 2 bonus single pages & three cards including their sketches. This month's kit contains My Mind's Eye paper, acrylic stamps & 7 Gypsies gaffer tape.

#2. Philarney's class: 19th Nov. 11:30am - 1:30pm
This month's double-page layout combines an oversized title, large elements and doodling to create pages that suit a fun, action-based theme. This could be the active lives of your family or an adventurous holiday that you have taken. You can also add a momento to this layout (mine is a tag) to make it truly personal.

#3. Dawn's class: 19th Nov. 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Using templates and a single kit we are working on a whole album. This is digital scrapbooking at it's easiest, so bring your laptop and your favourite digital scrapbooking kit for some fun!

October Simple Scrapbooking class sold out!

The Simple Scrapbooking class is now sold out. However, there are still a few spaces in SOS, which is just $15.00 or $47.00 for the kit.

Sorry to say that all of the kits for this class have now sold out. However, there is still room to come to the class, which is just $15.00.

October Classes 2011

Hi Everyone!

After some consideration we have decided to change our class booking process. Now when you select the "click to book in" button you will be asked to submit you details on a booking request form. This will generate an automatic email giving you our bank account details to deposit the class fee into. Your teacher will then confirm your payment via email including any extra class details you may need.

We have worked hard to make this process as streamlined as possible, we hope you find it easy to use. Please email us if you have any questions.

#2. Philarney's class: 15th October 11:30 - 1:30pm

This month's class combines a mix of techniques. On this double-page layout we will be using misting and masking to create a border and highlight the title; feature black cardstock to create drama and emphasise the bright colour scheme; and stamp to create the embellishments. The theme for my page is 'Friends' but this layout would suit other themes - including gardens or flowers - and has a feminine feel.

This is a simple scrapbooking class which is the perfect way to get some quick single pages done. We will be creating four single page layouts using cardstock and leftover design papers you have laying around at home.

Philarney's class: 17th Sept. 2011, 11:30-1:30pm
This month's double page layout is all about family and what you do together as a family. The embellishments are Cricut die-cuts so you can personalise your page to your families activities and likes. We will be using a colour combination of primary reds, blues and yellow - suitable for lots of different activities and photos. The layout will also include some hidden journaling tags to add to the memory keeping.

This month it's about having fun with photos. We will be making funky fonts with photos, pop art and more! Great techniques you can use for scrapbooking, wall art, invitations and so much more.

This month is all about boys! In this class we will create a two-page layout about the boy or boys in your life. We will use the techniques of masking and misting, and embellish the layout with stars and Cricut die-cuts - perfect for celebrating your boy.

Photoshop - Touch-ups & restoration
Bring your laptop loaded up with your old photos. Dawn will show you how to correct the shocking colour that your 70's photos have turned (sadly cannot correct the fashion, though!), touch up red eye & blemishes, repair tears & creases and remove dust & scratches from scans.
