April 2013 Classes

Class #1.   Sat. 13 & 27 April   9 - 11am This month I have used the deep colours of Kaiser's Lulu & Roy range to create a a fun layout which would suit any theme. We will be using a wooden embellishment, misting, layering a unique Cricut title and making a pocket for our journaling. If you would like to bring your own papers along instead, you will need 5 patterned papers and 3 sheets of cardstock. Teacher: Stacey Class only $15.00 Class + kit $28.00

Class #2.   Sat. 13 & 27 April   11:30 - 1:30pm Hexagon crazy In this class we revisit the current trend of hexagons to create a nine photo layout. We are using Bazzill Basics papers, which are multicoloured and fun, and theme can be anything you would like.  Teacher: Philarney   Class $15.00 Class + kit $30.00

Class #3.  Sat. 13 & 27 April   2 - 4pm Happy Birthday In this class we will be scrapbooking a birthday. We will use embossing, masking and resist ink techniques, along with bright colours and cupcake embellishments to create a birthday themed layout.  Teacher: Philarney   Class only $15.00 Class + kit $30.00

Kids Class   Thursday 11 April   4pm - 5pm In this month's class we will be making some pretty cards. There are three different techniques to learn. All you will need to bring a pair of scissors. Teacher: Stacey   Class + kit $15.00

Using supplies

Occasionally I have a small amount of time when I finish designing one month's class and before I start on the next month. This month I tried to make use of this time by doing a few layouts for myself (this is quite an unusual thing)! I still used my Line it Up tool, but made didn't make a note of the measurements and I didn't have to worry about how my class would replicate what I have done. I used some new Kaisercraft papers and dug into my own supplies to complete these 2 simple layouts and card.
